The Rooney Library was established with the help of a generous donation from Patrick A. Rooney. The Rooney provides a comprehensive range of books, periodicals and newspapers relevant to all courses offered at American College Dublin. It also benefits from electronic links with Lynn University through which it has access to over 11 million books and journals. The institution is a subscriber to the British Library Document Supply Centre which further enhances the range of materials available. The Rooney Library also has access to a wide variety of electronic databases.
The Rooney Library is open from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm, Monday to Friday, with extended hours during term-time.
